WOMAN SENTENCED TO LIFE FOR TORTURE AND MURDER OF 3-YEAR-OLD GIRL

PITTSBURGH — Laura Ramriez, 31, of Oakmont, was sentenced Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023 after being found guilty of first-degree murder of her 3-year-old stepdaughter, Bella Seachrist. Ramriez was sentenced to life in prison without parole and an additional 37-74 years in prison. 

The charges are as follows: 

Ct 1 – First degree homicide – Life without parole plus

Ct 2 – Aggravated Assault –    5 – 10 years consecutive

Ct 3 – Aggravated Assault –    5 – 10 years consecutive

Ct 5 – Endangering Welfare – 5 – 10 years consecutive

Ct 6 – Unlawful Restraint –      2 – 4 years consecutive

Ct 7 – Conspiracy/Homicide – 20 – 40 years consecutive
