PITTSBURGH — Brian Falce, 46, of the South Hills, has been charged with multiple counts of home improvement fraud, theft by deception and deceptive business practices for allegedly receiving payments and failing to render any services to various victims.
According to the criminal complaint, the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Investigations Unit received five separate reports from alleged victims, accusing Falce of agreeing to contracted home improvement work, collecting payments, failing to complete the work and then losing all communication with him. DA Investigators traced the various victim payments to Falce’s Falce Construction Solutions LLC bank account and connected the account to extensive ATM withdrawals at River’s Casino, multiple cash withdrawals and several thousand dollars spent on the FanDuel betting website.
The total of alleged stolen and misused funds outlined in the complaint is $99,169.
An accused is presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
